Sadly here across the Irish Sea @UREGNI didn’t seem to see the merit in smart meter rollout, instead thinking they were doing a service to deprived communities by not employing technology. Oblivious that Energy and Water management are key societal challenges for the future.

This evening I will stop using electricity from the grid between 5:30 and 6:30 and I'll get £2.25 off my next bill. I think that's rather nice. (And you don't have to stop using any electricity, just reduce your demand by as much as possible)

The shift to Electric Vehicles is continuing at pace as the UK moves to net zero.    Therefore from 2025, road tax will be introduced for EVs so all motorists begin to pay a fair share.   Support for charging infrastructure is continuing. #AutumnStatement
