Every heartbeat matters — and so does the circulation that connects the heart and lungs.
Cardiovascular disease remains the world’s leading cause of death, but many risk factors can be prevented or managed through awareness, ⤵️
...early action and better care. For people living with pulmonary hypertension, the heart–lung connection is especially important.
PH increases pressure in the lung circulation and can place added strain on the right side of the heart. ⤵️
Breathlessness, fatigue and reduced exercise capacity can be important warning signs.
