I can’t be certain, but I can’t help noticing that this impact scar in the asphalt at the crash site bears a striking resemblance to the shape of a Learjet’s wing and upturned wingtip.
The aircraft may have been traveling close to 700 mph when it struck the ground and disintegrated 🤔

A violent altercation and stabbing in the cockpit of a FlyDubai flight over Saudi Arabia this morning caused the 737-8 to plummet 18,400 feet in just under two minutes, exceeding its maximum operating speed by nearly 100 kts.

#Breaking Un Boeing 767-300F de #AmazonAir, operado por 21 Air, sufrió una excursión de pista este domingo durante su aterrizaje en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Miami (#MIA).
La aeronave, matrícula N1997A, realizaba el vuelo carguero 2I7598 desde San Juan, Puerto Rico, cuando abandonó la superficie de pista, rebasó el perímetro aeroportuario y terminó sobre una vía cercana al aeropuerto.
Imágenes difundidas desde el lugar muestran al #Boeing 767 con daños importantes y presencia de fuego, además de una extensa columna de humo negro, mientras numerosos equipos de emergencia trabajan en la zona.
El incidente provocó la suspensión temporal de operaciones en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Miami.
La aeronave involucrada tiene además un papel histórico dentro de la flota de Amazon: N1997A fue el primer Boeing 767 presentado con la imagen de Prime Air en 2016, cuando fue bautizado como “Amazon One”.
Hasta el momento, las autoridades no han confirmado oficialmente el estado de la tripulación ni las causas que provocaron la excursión de pista.

Inspired by the original 1973 Federal Express livery, the aircraft was among the first to land at the newly renamed Frederick W. Smith International Airport in Memphis.

🔴 Two Bell 214ST firefighting helicopters collided mid-air while battling a major forest fire in the Psatha area, west of Athens, Greece, triggering a search and rescue operation.
✈️ Aircraft involved: One helicopter was Bell 214ST N511EV (serial 28105, built in 1982), while the other was Bell 214ST N746H (serial 28200, built in 1991).
🚁 Each helicopter was carrying a two-person crew when the collision occurred during aerial firefighting operations, according to the Greek Fire Service.
💥 One helicopter exploded and crashed following the impact. All crew members have been located and rescued, with one person reported injured. Rescue and recovery efforts remain ongoing.
🔥 Nearly 500 firefighters were deployed to combat the wildfire near the coastal village of Porto Germeno, about 70 km northwest of Athens.

Passengers evacuated from a Tez Jet McDonnell Douglas MD-83 after its left-hand main gear collapsed on runway 26 at Manas International Airport in Kyrgyzstan.
Radar tracking data shows that the aircraft was departing to Osh at the time of the incident.
According to initial reports, there were no casualties. Flights from Manas International Airport have been temporarily suspended.
