We should have recess for high school kids too.
For optimal cognitive processing and memory consolidation, children need a period of unstructured free time, even if it is simply in the form of socializing or daydreaming. Don't take recess away.

Today is #WorldSuicidePreventionDay - a day to embrace that we all struggle and that suicide and depression are silent killers that affect us all. Acknowledging them is not a sign of weakness but of strength. Everyone is loved and everyone has value, and everyone needs reminders.
