The tiger remained inside its enclosure while the man entered it, and Yorkshire Wildlife Park has stated that the animal will not be euthanized.
On 10 October 2026 a man climbed into the Amur tiger enclosure at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in England and was fatally attacked by the tiger. The animal involved, named Altai, belongs to a conservation breeding program for the endangered Amur tiger. After the incident the park confirmed that Altai was safe and well and would not be put down.
The decision has generated extensive discussion about whether an animal should face lethal consequences for responding to an intruder that entered its own enclosure.

Hundreds of thousands of people tried Marathon during the server slam alone. Between early tests, the slam, actual launch, free weeks, season launches, endgame content, PvE content, Marathon has had about seven chances to make a first impression. Something can be good in its genre alongside the fact that most people simply do not want to play it

A stray cat in Turkey has gone viral after visiting the same shop every morning to hug the owner, Farhat Hayat.
The cat, named Sakir, started showing up after Farhat began feeding and playing with it. The sweet daily routine now attracts customers who stop by to watch the hugs in person.
