Seems pretty pricey for 1941. I love looking at old menus from the 50s/60/early70s Midwest because the choices are so alien. People would go out for liver and onions, meat loaf, tuna and noodles, catfish, and order milk as a beverage.
They've NEVER understood the music they listen to, the films they watch, the books they read. GOP candidates at all levels have used or tried to use Born in the USA for decades. These people seem to have cognitive limitations that prevent them from understanding meaning.

when an older person has the identical experience, it is judged differently.
a rule of thumb is: if an older person runs for office & wins, he/she will be far more vulnerable to media attacks that are in essence ageist attacks.
it won't matter if the elected official is effective in office, even excellent --the "age factor" will always work against them; it's a weapon in the hands of adversaries.
