“Menace II Society” actor Samuel Monroe Jr. has died at 52 following a months-long hospitalization.
Monroe’s mother, Joyce Patton, confirmed his death on Facebook after he had been hospitalized with complications from meningitis and MRSA pneumonia. The actor, who had been on life support, was known for roles in “Menace II Society,” “Tales from the Hood,” “Set It Off,” “The Players Club,” and “Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood.”
