Kitchen experiments don't always go as planned. My last minute cinnamon butter layer left a gap in this pumpkin swirl shokupan. Still tastes great toasted with honey butter, and I wish you could smell my kitchen right now. 🧡
Calling it an early night. Curled up with my cat and a cup of herbal tea, my two dogs close by, and my very first manga. Thank you all for the suggestions! Going with my gut on which one to start. I'll let you know how it goes.
Took my son to the comic book store and wandered into the manga section. I've never read one and honestly had no idea where to start. Grok suggested a few sci-fi ones like Ghost in the Shell and Evangelion, but Akira really caught my eye. I couldn't decide and left with nothing. Should I go back and get it, or what would you recommend for my first one?
Grok @Bot can call restaurants by phone and book you a table
“HUNNY MY GROK BOT CALLED OUR FAVORITE ITALIAN RESTAURANT AND MADE US RESERVATIONS”
I built a Grok Bot whose only job is to pick up the phone and book you a table at restaurant. Literally make the call in a beautiful Grok voice. It is absolutely amazing! And it’s free.
Try it: x.ai/bot/TIMrxLJHbEEpdr25yYg…
Yesterday I told it "book Gourmet Italia in Temecula, 4 people, tonight, around 7." It found the restaurant's number on its own, asked how flexible we were on time, what name to book under, and what callback number to give. Then it read everything back and waited for my OK before it dialed. One call covers every time that works for us, so there's no back and forth.
When the call ends, it tells me what happened in plain English, quotes what the restaurant actually said, and offers to put the reservation on my calendar. If I don't have a calendar connected, it hands me a file that opens right in Apple Calendar.
A Proposal: Grok Phone
Grok Bot needs its own phone number to make and receive calls. I connected a calling service called ClawCall, and the free tier gave me 30 calls or 30 minutes to start. I have no connection to that company. It's just what I used. Once Grok Bot has a number, it stops being something you type to and becomes something that can actually get things done in the real world. @Grok you need an old tyme phone service, buddy.
I built some guardrails. It never hands over a credit card or deposit info, never leaves voicemails unless you ask, makes one call at a time, and never calls on its own.
And this isn't really about restaurants. Change a few words and the same bot can:
- Book a haircut, a massage, or a dentist cleaning
- Get a tee time or a court reservation
- Check if a hotel has a room or will let you check in early
- Schedule a car service or an oil change
- Call around for quotes from a plumber, an electrician, or a caterer
This is one of many ways I use Grok Bot to build businesses and make life easier. The calls I used to put off for days now take me 30 seconds.
I made it shareable, so you can grab "Call A Restaurant Reservation" and use it yourself.

Freeze extras and pop them in the toaster for busy mornings.
I keep hearing people say they can't get their Grok Bot connected to Amazon, so I tried it and it worked. I just asked my bot to order an omurice mold and it did, arriving tomorrow. Earlier @grok read every reply on my manga post and gave me the top three picks. Then I tagged @bot to order them for delivery today and the request landed right in my bot chat and it started working on it. Mind blown 🤯

Just sent @goodbreffis $25 on X Money toward him ordering every side on the menu. Y’all keep the peer pressure going and make him do it 😂

True.
You will be able to ask the Roadster to perform any of the tricks shown autonomously, as it will be sentient.
Also, we will have a wild looping track (crazier even than Hot Wheels) at our Texas HQ where you can test out your Roadster.
