For the first time since 2023, @AugieVolleyball has defeated a nationally-ranked opponent. And for the first time since 2019, it happened in straight sets!!! 🗞️ » bit.ly/4k1Jyik #BuildingChampions

The fact that announcements to STAY at your same college are just as big of news as those transferring out is just insane. And the fact that players now pretty much have to confirm that they’re staying in the first place is even more insane.

This win also snapped Minnesota Duluth’s 39-match winning streak in the series. Bemidji State’s victory ended a 27-year winless drought against them, its longest active drought against any conference opponent.

Bemidji State volleyball hadn't swept an NSIC opponent in over two years. It hadn't swept a weekend in nearly 12 months either. But homecoming weekend brought the best out of standout sophomore Ava Athman and the Beavers, who believe the tide is turning: bemidjipioneer.com/sports/co…

Ava Athman shines as Beavers cruise to homecoming sweep over Marauders

The Bemidji State volleyball team hadn’t swept an NSIC opponent in over two years, but homecoming weekend was as good a time as any to snap the skid against U-Mary.
