For to år siden (16/3-22) ble et teater utsatt for terror som overgår den terror som ble utført på Crocus City Hall i Moskva i går. Det skjedde når russerne sendte en rakett direkte på teateret i Mariupol. Innbyggerne brukte teateret som en skjulested for kvinner og barn.
De hadde også skrevet med store bokstaver "BARN" (ДЕТИ) utenfor som en bønn om at russerne skulle skåne bygget. Like etter "ДЕТИ" ble tegnet i bakken foran hovedinngangen, bombet russerne teateret til totalvrak. Over 600 personer døde, veldig mange barn.
Vi får nok aldri vite det fulle antallet, for russerne har gjort det umulig å sjekke ruinene.

I am very worried about Vladimir Kara-Murza, who is not in the best of health after being poisoned twice. I am very worried about Ilya Yashin. Although he is a brave man who prepared for prison, for which I have great respect for him. I believe that if you are fighting this regime, you need to prepare carefully for that fight.
I am worried, of course, about Andrey Pivovarov and Alexey Pichugin. I understand that the regime has been killing, and it has no real reason to stop.
I have talked about this before, but I feel it needs to be repeated: Western nations must give Putin an ultimatum to release political prisoners, and refuse to recognize his legitimacy after the March 'election'. Do not enable gangsters.

После убийства Навального стало очевидно, что жизнь каждого российского политзека под угрозой. Но судьба Кара-Мурзы вызывает особую тревогу.
С одной стороны, Алексей и Владимир совсем не похожи. А с другой – у них гораздо больше общего, чем может показаться на первый взгляд.
Оба создавали личные проблемы окружению Путина. Навальный – антикоррупционными расследованиями и разоблачениями. Кара-Мурза – лоббированием персональных санкций на Западе.
Оба де-факто объявлены в России врагами государства. Навальный внесён в список террористов и экстремистов, представляющих угрозу национальной безопасности. Кара-Мурза обвинён в госизмене и получил в суде беспрецедентные 25 лет колонии.
К обоим тюремная система совершенно беспощадна. Алексей и Владимир не вылезали из ШИЗО, подвергались пыточным условиям содержания. Оба испытывали серьезные проблемы со здоровьем.
Наконец, главное: обоих Путин ранее уже пытался убить. Навальный и Кара-Мурза пережили покушения, организованные спецслужбами.
Понимаю, что мои слова – глас вопиющего в пустыне. Но Владимира Кара-Мурзу надо спасать. Угроза его жизни не просто реальна, она зашкаливает.
Почти все западные лидеры высказались про смерть Навального, возложив ответственность за эту трагедию на Путина.
И сегодня я хочу обратиться к руководству ООН, к президенту США, к лидерам стран ЕС. Проявите добрую волю и задействуйте все дипломатические инструменты, чтобы добиться скорейшего освобождения Кара-Мурзы. Сделайте это, пока не стало слишком поздно.

This is the third New Year's Eve I have taken the traditional family New Year's Eve photo with Photoshop. I am trying to keep up with the times, and this time I asked an artificial intelligence to draw me. I hope it turned out something fantastic - I will not see the picture myself until the letter with it arrives on Yamal.
"I miss you terribly" is a kind of incorrect construction from the point of view of the Russian language. It's better to say: "I miss you a lot" or "I miss you so much".
But from my point of view, it is more accurate and correct. I miss my family terribly. Yulia, my children, my parents, my brother. I miss my friends, colleagues, our office, and my work. I miss you all terribly.
I have no feelings of loneliness, abandonment, or isolation at all. My mood is great and quite Christmassy. But there is no substitute for normal human communication in all its forms: from jokes at the New Year's table to correspondence in Telegram and comments on Instagram and Twitter.
I terribly miss being able to argue with people who send stupid, identical greetings and pictures via their WhatsApp list on New Year's Eve. It used to annoy me, but now I just think it's cute. Imagine someone sitting down and sending everyone a couple of kittens with bobble hats under the Christmas tree.

Don't miss anyone. Not even terribly, much, or very much. Don't miss your loved ones, and don't let your loved ones miss you. Continue to be a good, honest person and try to be a little better and more honest in the next year. For myself, that's pretty much what I wish for. Don't get sick and take care of yourself.

The President of Latvia proposed closing the Baltic Sea to the Russian Federation - Bloomberg
If suspicions are confirmed that Russia damaged the Balticconnector gas pipeline and communication cables, then NATO should close shipping in the Baltic Sea to Russia.
“This can be done. The ships can be stopped. But this is a question of a whole range of maritime rights. If it is clearly proven that this is Russia, there should be a discussion that in order to protect our critical infrastructure we can close the Baltic Sea,” The Latvian President .
Damage to the Balticconnector gas pipeline connecting Finland and Estonia became known on October 10. A week later, information appeared about damage to the telecommunications cable connecting Sweden and Estonia.

👍NATO countries have launched an operation in the Black Sea: they are clearing the shipping corridor of mines
A group of ships of the Bulgarian and Romanian navies has started trawling (searching and neutralizing sea mines) along the coast of Bulgaria, Andriy Klymenko, the head of the monitoring group of the Institute of Black Sea Strategic Studies, said.
The decision to start trawling was made on October 12, 2023 at a meeting in the Ramstein format in Brussels, and on October 16 the ships already went to sea.
The operation to search for mines is not limited to the territorial waters (12-mile zone) of Bulgaria, but extends to the adjacent water area, through which the routes of bulk carriers of the new Ukrainian grain corridor pass.

Russian media report that Kadyrov, worried and frightened by a sudden worsening of his health condition, accused his personal doctor, Elkhan Suleimanov, who also served as deputy prime minister, of trying to poison him.
The doctor disappeared without a trace from October 2022, and then, according to several sources, he was removed from all posts, brutally murdered and buried alive.
Suleymanov's last Instagram post is dated October 2022, despite the fact that he used to update his profile almost daily. He was also not seen for a long time either in Moscow educational institutions, which he often visited, or in Chechnya. Noticeably, his Instagram page shows a link to the website of the Chechen Republican Oncological Dispensary, which was his main project. However, the source claims that this site now sells cocaine in Dubai.
Suleymanov was an extraordinary figure in Kadyrov's entourage - he was a Lezgin, not a Chechen, and had an impressive professional record in medicine. His abrupt disappearance and mysterious death raise many questions.
