If you are physically able, PLEASE donate blood. Our neighbors need you; our country needs you!
The app makes it super easy to schedule an appointment near you. Plus, there are great snacks when you are done! 😃

This was only 20 years ago when the Mainstream Media ran news segments like this. Can't imagine them doing anything similar now...

Firearms exist whether we teach our children about them or not!
This training will ALWAYS be part of our program. We don’t teach children to play with firearms. We teach them to recognize danger, never touch an unattended firearm, and get an adult.
We taught our boys about different types of firearms, how to safely clear them under supervision, and what to do if they ever encounter one.
Ignorance doesn’t keep children safe. EDUCATION CAN SAVE LIVES!

All of us at Marvel Studios are deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. Sir Patrick brought Professor Charles Xavier to life with extraordinary grace, intelligence, and humanity, defining the character for generations of fans, from "X-Men" to "Logan" to "Avengers: Doomsday." He was a singular talent, a generous collaborator, and a true gentleman. Our hearts go out to his wife Sunny, his children, his friends, and the countless fans around the world whose lives he touched with his art.
An AMAZING digital resource for everything @colonialwmsburg !

Every family has to decide what it can afford. Washington never does. The national debt is over $40 trillion, and it keeps growing while both parties vote for more spending.
My Six Penny Plan is simple: cut six cents from every dollar the federal government spends, and balance the budget in five years. That is real reform.

One day, your child will ask you to play for the last time, and you won’t even realize it.
Don’t miss the little moments. They might become your child’s biggest memories. ❤️

Sweden is officially ditching mRNA vaccines, and they are not hiding their reasons for doing so.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Misleading. Image text is from a Dutch group (Artsen Collectief), not a Swedish source. Sweden’s regions chose Sanofi’s Nuvaxovid as sole supplier for the 2027/2028 campaign only.
There has been no mRNA ban; Public Health Agency says 2026/2027 mainly uses mRNA Comirnaty.

Thomas Sowell grew up poor in Harlem and spent his twenties as a Marxist. A job inside the federal government ended that. Asked what changed his mind, he gave a one-word answer: "facts."
Chicago sharpened the habit, with Milton Friedman teaching him, and he carried it through more than 45 books and a column in over 150 newspapers. From housing to the minimum wage, he checked what policies did and ignored what their authors promised.
His most famous line sits in A Conflict of Visions: "There are no solutions. There are only trade-offs." Politicians hate that sentence because it puts everyone selling solutions out of work. Every program has a price, and voters rarely pay it.
Sowell lived by it. When the Reagan administration put him on an economic advisory committee, he resigned after the first meeting. He pointed to Friedman's view that some individuals "contribute more by staying out of government."
He retired from writing in December 2016 at 86 and turned 96 this June. His method fits on an index card: skip the promises, check the results.
Now go ahead and do that with your local ruling class.

Bob Uecker's "I must be in the front row" Miller Lite ad became bigger than the commercial campaign itself. The spot dates to the early 1980s and fit Uecker's self-deprecating persona perfectly.
He could be a baseball broadcaster, actor and comedian without changing the character much at all. Nobody played the lovable guy who knew he wasn't the star better than Uecker.

Did you know that snow shoveling counts toward the 50 Yard Challenge too?
With so many places getting snow right now, this is the PERFECT time for kids to jump in, serve their community, and knock out yards — even in the winter months! 🧤⛄️
Kids can shovel driveways, sidewalks, and walkways for elderly neighbors, veterans, single parents, and those in need — all while earning credit toward their 50 yards and leveling up their shirts!
Kindness doesn’t stop when the grass stops growing!
If your child isn’t signed up yet, now is a great time to join and start making an impact — rain, shine, or snow!
Let’s turn these snow days into service days
