"After being examined by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), Ynet learned from European officials that there is concern that the song sent to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will be disqualified because they claim it contains political statements
As a result of these messages, the Kan corporation council was urgently convened, which decided:
We will not change the lyrics or the song, even at the cost of Israel not participating in Eurovision this year"

Eurovision is my most favourite time of year. I LIVE for it. But in 2024 (like 2019 - Tel Aviv) I will not be watching or speaking about it. I am so shocked and upset that ESC is allowing a State actively committing war crimes to participate.
Russia was banned, so why not Israel?

I dunno about you but if I was concerned about women and children’s safety I’d put a balaclava on and start smashing the city I live in up and setting shit on fire while women and children try to make their way home in the evening.
This time last year I was past my due date and baby was expected any day. I can’t imagine the horror these mothers must feel being in labour during this.
