When you go to vote, don't forget that LOCAL RACES MATTER. I write an election guide to my local races, and in 2022 I wrote up my best tips for people who are trying to figure out who to vote for in their own downballot races.

I live over in St. Paul. Are Minneapolis neighborhoods really this edible? (@Falling_Fruit)
OMG! Windows troubleshooter fixed a problem! Am I...am I the first? This feels like a computing milestone. Who should I contact about this?
Let's all throw some money at NPR. And while you're at it, MPR too.

I'm saving about $15/month as part of @XcelEnergyMN Saver Switch program. The only time I've seen them switch off my air conditioner was a few weeks ago, at 1AM?!
They switched it off 3 times in a two hour period for 14 minutes each. In the middle of the night.

The US election is tomorrow. If you, like me, are tired of horse-race-style reporting, and need to zoom out, I wanna tell you a story. It’s about an ancient force influencing the election. And, as a bonus, it’ll give you an Easter egg to watch for as the returns come in. THREAD
I've never heard of youtube-dl until today. Thank you RIAA for the useful tip.
Holy cow, the RIAA has gotten youtube-dl taken off Github. DMCA notice: github.com/github/dmca/blob/…
Hey @Google. It's kinda heart breaking to read elementary school facebook groups where parents are begging other parents to help kids use the mute button. They see their own kids losing interest in the chaos of #googlemeet virtual classrooms. Group mute desperately needed.
Is there an Android BLE app that reports back which advertisement channels (37, 38, or 39) a beacon is advertising on?
What conferencing platform are other schools using for sync learning? My kid is in St. Paul, using Google Meet. Google Meet isn't good for conf with many students. They still don't have gallery view, even though google saids it starting to roll out in the summer?
This is a nice idea. Maximum surface area!
When you have 30 projects running concurrently.... you get a tray system as a matter of survival. I work directly from the trays, moving them to/from my workbench. No cleanup needed to swap projects - just swap trays. #leanmanufacturing #engineer
