I didn’t realize that a MLS licensed their data to @perplexity_ai to use in making CMAs! #Sarcasm #StopDataTheft

RIP Git
New on our Engineering blog: Creating in-house source control. In May, we merged around 2,500 code changes per day. In September, we merged more than 30,000 per day. As a result, we became bottlenecked by developer infrastructure built for human (rather than agent) scale. Here, we share how we built a new version control system—and fully migrated our monorepo from git—in five months: anthropic.com/engineering/re…

Infomarchy 1.4.0 is out. Your omarchy wallpaper becomes a live AI agent information desk. Every AI agent running on the host, what it's doing, what % it cost you, and how the box is holding up, colors drawn from your theme. One glance away, one click to jump into the running session even in herdr. This release is almost entirely other people's work and I want to name each one of the project contributors and what they accomplished. @gh_TechLuddite sent 5 pull requests and all 5 landed. Five!!!! 1. Hardened the collector, and this matters. Observational git commands now run with filesystem monitors, hooks, external diffs and credential helpers disabled. Infomarchy runs git across whatever repos your agents happen to be sitting in, and a repo controls every one of those settings. That was a real code execution path and he closed it. He also caught that 1.0.0.0 was being treated as loopback, which had been quietly letting topic refinement post prompt text to it. I confirmed both against main before merging. That is the kind of hole a maintainer does not find staring at his own code. 2. Added Pi as a tracked agent, plus a fair Recent Tasks window so a busy claude week can't bury opencode or Pi entirely. Reservations decide membership, not display order, so pinned-first and newest-first still hold. That detail was easy to get wrong and he got it right. 3. Made the LOCAL AI server origin persist, with a validator that rejects embedded credentials, paths, queries, fragments and bad ports. Crucially he kept topic refinement loopback-only, refusing to let one question quietly answer the other. 4. Added an optional MEDIA CONTROLS card over local MPRIS. Album art is never fetched. That was his call, not mine, on the one field that would have reached the network. 5. Added animated image wallpapers, with playback paused and rendering disabled while the overlay is closed. @alinuxfan2 filed the antigravity issue AND sent the fix, with sample process data for both the interactive invocations and the daemons. antigravity and agy are now tracked agents, and "agy remote-control start" and "agy mic-serve" correctly stay off the desk. Filing the issue and shipping the patch is about as good as it gets. @EricStegemann, told us muse became an official omarchy agent. Muse sessions now show up on the AI agent information desk. @sooners0 taught the Infomarchy to read hermes history out of SQLite, so hermes prompts finally appear in Recent Tasks beside claude and codex. Opened read-only through a check that rejects anything but a regular file, so a symlink can't stand in for the real database. Open, wanted, and getting merged the moment they rebase: @WulfKaal found a genuine privacy hole. An SSH forward to a remote Ollama answers on 127.0.0.1, so the loopback check passes and prompt text leaves the machine believing it never did. He also resisted the tempting fix, because a forward can't be told from a local socket by its address. @reverb256 fixed hermes detection for shebang-less installs where the session runs as "python -m hermes_cli.main" and was simply invisible, and wrote a filter for the auto-injected rows Hermes puts in its own history. Every QML file is now gated on qmllint. That exists because integrating this queue produced a settings file with a duplicated property and a missing comma that passed all 238 tests and would have failed to load on the desk. Tests that match strings cannot tell a valid document from a broken one. One more thing...I am NOT a programmer or coder. No way I find these PRs without these folks help or AI. Im an infrastructure guy by trade and know what 'good looks like'. If not for @dhh, omarchy and AI agents Id still be designing enterprise storage arrays. Yawn. github.com/nixfred/infomarch…

Who is this team? I started watching WC in 1990 with my dad. I've NEVER seen the USA play like this. Wow. #TeamUSA

Brokerages need to stay ahead of the tech pace, but need to better work with MLSs on the usage of the data. We simply can't have tech vendors that allow agents to vibe code some new tool using IDX data. There needs to be better compliance tools, TODAY.

All my small plane pilot friends are big mad at @starlink today. Their plans just went up 5X in price overnight, and the data included went from 100GB to 20GB. I know it's a small group of people, but this is causing many to cancel this service as it's now cost-prohibitive especially with the lower bandwidth service. Starlink was a complete game-changer for being connected from a small plane, and I think it would be cool if they left it where it was so normal folks in piston aircraft could enjoy it, and reserve the higher-price tiers for turbine aircraft speeds, 300+mph. It's got to be the tiniest revenue difference for SpaceX either way, but it's a world of difference for safety and connectivity to the American general aviation fleet of small planes. cc @elonmusk

On the flip side of how good the Data Dictionary with WebAPI from @RESOStandards has made things, is boards that still only have RETS. We're on hour 9 of mapping a board and still only through Member, Office, and 1 residential class @samdebord - treacherous.
