Data sharing requires trust. Trust can be facilitated with effective governance, which means the rules for sharing of data. But where do these rules come from? It turns out on many levels and the more they come bottom up from companies and individuals, the better. Reflecting over 4 years of #GDPR in operation & enforceable, here’s what I would highlight so far:
1️⃣It’s a slight exaggeration to call it the gold-standard (as there’s always room for improvement) but it has become the most globally influential data protection law ever created.
