'Honeycrisp' season is upon us in central Indiana. Showing one fruit. Partially damaged fruit from April 20 freeze event. One side looks great, the other side not so much. This was dependent on a lot of factors. Location on tree, side facing up, proximity to leaves, & more.

We’re very pleased to share that the @EPA has approved the registration of our new herbicide active ingredient Rapidicil® (epyrifenacil).  The first two products utilizing the new herbicide active ingredient -- Empera® and Empera Viragess™ -- will be available for use in late 2026. We appreciate the EPA’s science-based regulatory process and approval of this registration, which enables us to bring this innovation to U.S. farmers. Cold morning in central Indiana. Bottomed out at 29.1°F in Hancock County just after sunrise. Apple trees did not like it, but should have minimal fruit damage. #spring #fruit #apples #freeze #inwx
