From yesterday
The Warriors organization asked me to make some videos for their YT channel. Here is the second video!
Explain: How Jimmy Butler III made Steve Kerr evolve the Warriors Offense
On waterbenders and earthbenders uniting and electromagnetic celebrations

“It's not about not about like the foul call being called. It's about like him complaining the entire game”
Yaxel Lendeborg says he lost all respect for Luka Doncic during Warriors-Lakers.

The problem with Draymond at the five isn't Draymond himself per se but the personnel surrounding him.
If the first line of defense gets through, either in roll situations or iso drives, it's Draymond that has to come over to help.
Part of the Dubs' defensive problems tonight is that no-one is helping Draymond. You can see Draymond exasperated in both clips below: Melton failing to tag the roll in the first clip and Steph not sinking in toward Kessler when Draymond has to help on Luka.
Niners substation out of control
Charles Bassey (right knee) is also now OUT for the Warriors tonight @NBCSWarriors
Center rotation will be a mix of Draymond, Al Horford, Yaxel Lendeborg and Graham Ike
The Warriors only have 10 healthy players from their 15-man roster available for the season opener
I WANTED TO BELIEVE
Porzingis is on a trade-flexible contract for $20 million this season and a small partial next year, serving as essentially an expiring deal that the Warriors can utilize, potentially with their pool of assets. He first revealed his POTS diagnosis last year and has had ups and downs with the issue. If there is no breakthrough in recovery, stepping away from basketball -- for good -- is possible.

TODAY'S FRONT PAGE 📰
On the @mercnews front page: Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg and four-time NBA champ Draymond Green had a social media spat over their alma maters this summer.
Their relationship goes deeper than that.

Shout out to Ballhalla last night. Thought this was a really cool moment- every fan on their feet chanting G-S-V as the horn sounded on an ATL win over the Valkyries. It's a 1 of 1 homecourt advantage in American pro sports (as heard on @957thegame, @espn1320 and @siriusxmnba).

NEW 📝📝📝:
The Valkyries couldn’t buy a basket last night and combined with the turnovers and Angel Reese’s big night, GSV let the Dream even up the Finals at 1-1.
Story on what went wrong in Game 2 for Golden State:

People are somehow still finding a way to disparage Angel Reese after her brilliant Game 2, criticizing her for being upset about not getting the ball.
Here's the missing context, and the chess match going on between Reese and Kiah Stokes that those people are oblivious to.

Hey everyone, who is ready for the start of the WNBA Finals? Best of 5, ATL has home court advantage, but GSV just needs to steal one and hold serve. Let's gooooo
Past Warriors open practices were literally layup lines and then rookies singing songs wearing Hello Kitty
#Warriors are going near-full-speed at open practice today at Chase Center. Steve Kerr already pissed two possessions in. Much more intense than previous years of open practices, as my fellow beat reporters tell me.

🚨NEW WORDS ALERT🚨
The Dream had their worst half-court performance of the year yesterday. There’s some low-hanging fruit for them to grab, but they need to grab it quickly.
Golden State is daring them to.

FEATURE📝:
Nobody loves basketball more than Natalie Nakase. But that love had a cost recently, when exhaustion caught up to her in Game 3 of the Wings series.
I talked to Natalie's sisters Nicola and Norie about that moment, why she lives and breathes hoops, and where that love and passion began.
