#Ergo EIP-37 successfully activated! The difficulty adjustments will now take place every 128 blocks, which is 87% faster than before, in addition it will have a max adjustment of 50%. This should go a long way in making the DAA much snappier to maintain healthy block times

The Ergo Foundation will provide a +75% block bonus for the remaining blocks found this epoch, to a block height of 844,799. 36 ERG will be provided for each block in the form of fees for the miner of each block to collect. 48 ERG current block reward + 36 ERG in form of fees.

Earlier today, Ergo Reference Client v4.0.103 was released, this allows EIP-37 to be voted on before the start of the next epoch. We received our first yes, moments ago!
