Enfield Conservatives cutting funding for our schools and street cleaning. Yet they can find money for senior council officers.
Cuts for our communities, but money for the top. Make it make sense.
& the Green Party are completely silent on this issue

A new comprehensive pilot exploring how @TfL can deliver cleaning services in-house will begin this week.
I’ve long championed insourcing where possible, and that of course includes our hard working and essential cleaning staff. I’m pleased that TfL is taking this important step both for customers and for the dedicated cleaning colleagues who help keep London moving.
I want to thank the RMT for their work and invaluable input.

@ErginErbil, @JoanneMcCartney & I have jointly written to the Deputy Mayor of London for Transport on withdrawing another viral bus route.
The 149 is the only direct bus route from Edmonton & North Tottenham into the city.
These proposals can’t go ahead & should be withdrawn.
The independent CIPFA financial report praising Enfield Council’s transparency and financial strength refers to work carried out before May 2026 under the previous Labour administration.

Note to all the pearl-clutching Tories out in force today…
You don’t HAVE to send your kids to private school. We have universal education provision in this country.
If you *choose* to do so, the rest of us shouldn’t pay for you to have a tax break for the privilege.
Doorknocking in #NorthumberlandPark, Tottenham with Ajda our Labour candidate in today’s by-election.
Labour are the only party locally that champion local residents, echo local residents concerns, fight to improve our neighbourhoods, and fight for investment.

Keir Starmer has changed our party and our country for the better.
He brought Labour back from electoral oblivion, has restored our reputation abroad, stabilised the economy and will lift half a million children out of poverty.
We owe Keir a huge debt of gratitude.

I’m standing for re-election to Labour's NEC.
My family was lifted out of poverty by a Labour Government, and I've dedicated my life to our movement ever since.
Over the last four years, I've championed members, campaigned for our candidates and worked to strengthen our party from the grassroots up.
If you're attending your CLP nomination meeting, I'd be grateful for your support. 🌹
Update: cleanliness on Victoria Road and in Pymmes Park, we’ve pushed for dumped rubbish to be removed daily, roads cleaned regularly, and bins in the park emptied every day.
