as an Indian origin person, I often look at these racist posts and wonder what the fuck assimilation even means when these same people who are racist to us can’t even accept black people as one of their own. and in the context of this picture, aren’t they Christians? shouldn’t they be showing more kindness and compassion toward the poor and less fortunate?
that’s because all these shifting goalposts are just a smokescreen for what lies at the root of it all- colorism and entitlement.
