Day 3 of learning at #TxEDCON2026
As leaders, we must be willing to challenge the status quo, take thoughtful risk, and pursue better outcomes for students. We don’t need to agree on everything, but we can’t be divided. Growth begins when we step forward #TASA #TASB #leadership

🎨Big news! Del Valle ISD has been named a 2025–26 @TexasArtEd Association District of Distinction!
Out of over 1,200 TX school districts, DVISD was 1 of only 126 selected placing our visual arts program in the top 10.5% statewide! Huge congratulations to our Visual Arts team!
This is my team! 🖤❤️ Two phenomenal Chiefs that show up for students everyday. Proud to stand alongside them as we support our high school, celebrate Homecoming Week, and bring the Cardinal spirit to tomorrow’s football game! 🏈

Every Day Counts in DVISD!
When students are here, they are growing, connecting, and building their futures. Missing just 2 days a month means missing 10% of the school year—and every lesson matters! Let's work together to make attendance a priority this week!

I’m so glad that Dr. Bailey is part of this learning opportunity and that she’s representing DVISD. I knew that the work we doing in partnership with TEA at the Center for Effective Districts would eventually directly benefit our district. Keep learning, growing & leading boldly!

Persistence. Resilience. Excellence. 🎓
Today, we welcomed a new generation of teachers to DVISD. We heard their why, about the teachers who inspired them & their hopes for students. Today reminded me how powerful we can be.
To the new DVISD family, you belong here, you are valued, you will make a difference
