TLDR: Keep banning players in Ranked. Stop banning players in Normals. @drewlevin Keep the bans shorter at 1st. (2 hour bans, 12 hour bans) --- --- 1st record of not finshing of a nexus, should only be like a 2 hour time out. 1st record of wasting Flash, similar. (Make sure to warn them, further poor actions will result in increased ban durations for future offenses) -- (Note Flash can be a misclick, I've done this, as have you) (This is more comon when typing mutiplue messages in chat, and failing to hit the enter key) So if someone tells me "I don't care if we win" And I reply "For what reason..." and forget to hit enter, I just lost my flash, since it is on F. Note this. --- --- Expand the bans depending on both the % of games they play like that, and the raw # of games they play. -Example; If someone only plays like 4 games a month, but 2 of those games they were behaving poorly. A Ranked Ban should be put on the Account(and)Hardware forcing them to play 5 normals games. -Example; If someone spams 40 Ranked Games a week, and 2 of those games they were playing like a clown, Lead with a 3 day Hardware Ban. Different players need different punishments. The guy spaming games, doesn't care as much if you make him play 5 normals. The guy that only plays 3-5 games a month, doesn't care about a 3 day ban. When you get Banned, you should care, and be not happy. Otherwise it isn't a punishment. --- --- 2 hour bans, 12 hour bans, 3 day bans. To be honest, if you just keep throwing 3 day *HARDWARE* bans, for repeated small infractions, most people will start act right in Ranked. Those who don't go to 7-14-30day or even 90day Hardware Bans. ------- --- --- ------- One last important thing to note. Riot doesn't want to Hardware Ban, because this hurts "PC Caffe" (Dumb) If PC, Caffe were ID'd by Riot as "Safe" Boosters will just go to those PC's to Boost. So trying to Id those PC's would be in vain, and a pointless plan. Any PC with over 10 accout log in's should just have the Ranked Q disabled. Period. -Each Log in per PC will be held for a year, (similar to how many companies count Atendence infractions) The Ranked Q becomes avalible again, after 365days from the 10th accounts log-in. If that means many Master+ players are hit for a year, so be it. There is zero reason they have 10 accounts. OR time it out for 2 months, FORGIVE the 10+ log-ins, and then recount the account # from those 2 months, and start there, once they hit account # 10 disable ranked on that PC. (Maybe warn players, so they don't brick their PC's or just disable Ranked for any account other then the 10) -Important Note- ONLY if the account actually plays a game, Maybe I want to set up my girlfriends Rune page for her, or something, so long as I don't Q up or play game, a log-in alone should not be counted as a ranked problem. Also consider making the number like 3-5 accounts not 10. At least do this in NA. 99.9% of real players will remain uneffected. Well over 1% may be effected, but that will be be people who are boosting/wintrading and breaking TOS.
