Bitcoin key & wallet calculator in one downloadable HTML file. You bring your own entropy; it does the math offline.

Alice has used her hardware wallet for years and wants to be sure her paper backup really restores it. She enters the seed phrase into EntropyLab on an offline computer and confirms that the receive addresses match the ones her wallet shows, without ever restoring it on a second device. github.com/OogaBoogaX/entrop…

Bob owns a hardware wallet but doesn't feel comfortable trusting the seed phrase it gave him. He rolls dice, turns the rolls into a new seed phrase with EntropyLab on an offline computer, and loads it onto his hardware wallet. Now he only needs to trust the hardware wallet for signing transactions. entropylab.online

Try EntropyLab online with test data. See how entropy becomes a seed phrase, keys and addresses. 🎲 For real seeds, download the HTML and run it on a fully offline computer. Never enter a real seed in the online version. entropylab.online

Who’d be interested in a limited-edition “Seed Round” of EntropyLab merch to help fund our clankers for the next few weeks/months? I’m thinking a small run of a few different items...just 21 of each, individually numbered and tastefully branded with the EntropyLab logo. Each piece would be marked: Seed Round · x/21

Ooga boogas + giga brains have been cooking. The amount of useful stuff being added is mind blowing. First tool that gives you BIP39 words and a Bitcoin Core wallet.dat already loaded with the descriptors... from the same air-gapped session! First practical way to inspect a hardware wallet PSBT for nonce reuse without touching a key. One HTML file. Bring your own entropy. It never generates it. Hold and receive without a hardware or software wallets. Sign later. Class 5 Bitcoin laboratory

EntropyLab is an air-gapped Bitcoin calculator. One HTML file. You bring the entropy. It never rolls dice for you. You do not need a hardware wallet or a software wallet to hold or receive bitcoin. A signing device is only for spending. What it does: • Dice rolls, coin flips, hex, or binary → seed • Three dice methods: hash the rolls, BitBox-style, Ian Coleman / Keystone • Seed phrase, xprv/xpub, WIF, hex key, Casascius minikey • Optional passphrase • BIP39 seed, Bitcoin Core key, xpubs, fingerprints, descriptors • Legacy, nested SegWit, native SegWit, Taproot • Mainnet and testnet • Watch-only multisig (m-of-n from xpubs, no private keys) • Recovery sheet you can save or print • PSBT inspect: where it sends, amounts, fee, signed or not • ECDSA nonce reuse check (save `r`, compare next spend) • Optional RFC 6979 check with a key that stays in RAM for that session only Download the file. Open it on a machine that never goes online. Don’t type a real seed on a computer that’s connected. entropylab.online github.com/w-s-bitcoin/entro…
