I caught up with a friend a few days ago. He's at around $50k MRR but burning $44k to get there. That's a really complicated way to make $6k a month. The expenses are making it insanely stressful for him. Chasing MRR is how you build a business that looks successful. Chasing profit is how you build one that actually is.
