Back in June I went bafflingly viral on the insect-hating side of instagram for a photo of me covered in Brood X cicadas, and it caught the attention of a reporter - and today, a story about my love of insects got published in a British magazine 😂

14 votes • Final resultsMy grandma came over today, and without thinking of the repercussions I took out a CAN of pinto beans folks. She looked me in the eye and said, “are those for the dogs?”.
This is when I knew, although stressed, I should have invested the time and made them the “right way”. 🤦🏻♀️

It has been an absolute whirlwind of emotions lately, but I am finally ready to tell the world (social media) that I will be going to Cornell University for a Masters in entomology and as a recipient of the NSF-GRFP. I did work really hard, but I also had enormous help. ❤️🍾
