It’s time to destroy all the walls and
start building peace and bridges of love between two beautiful countries.❤️
We hope that the real commander and mastermind of the LRA atrocities, Joseph Kony, will soon be apprehended and sent to the Hague. With persistent reports of sightings in the remote area of Kafia Kingi in South Darfur, the Sudan security forces should help find and arrest him.
Replying to @Invisible
To permanently end LRA violence, the regional governments and the international community need to urgently arrest Kony and restart messaging campaigns that encourage defections. 8/12

In support of peace, the Enough Project calls for:
-Unrestricted humanitarian access, especially as famine threatens the region.
-Guarantees for civilian protection in any political process.
-Unrestricted media access to give witness to crimes and the collection of evidence.
2/3
-@ICRC to have total access for humanitarian efforts, the protection of civilians and POWs, and other Geneva Convention priorities.
-Independent investigations of all reported atrocities in Tigray and areas where massacres or violence have occurred over the last six months.

Four years after Enough’s report "The Mafia in the Park: A charcoal syndicate is threatening Virunga, Africa’s oldest national park," some warlords operating in North Kivu still run networks trafficking in charcoal obtained from the illegal felling of trees there.
#DRCongo > Armed groups that have been roaming eastern DRC for decades are known for killing and raping civilians. But they are also responsible for #EnvironmentalCrimes of ever-growing proportions, particularly in the famous Virunga National Park.
