#WWE2K26 The Street Fighter x WWE 2K collab is cool and all, but saying people don’t want to have fun is certainly a take. The backlash isn’t really about Street Fighter. It’s about the way 2K has handled this game all year. People spent $150 on this game, yet we’re still being asked to pay for another pack while dealing with lackluster Showcase/MyRISE modes, stale gameplay, match types needing major overhauls, and Persona cards that have been a pain to obtain all year. On top of that, people are tired of Mattel figures, especially when these collab cosmetics look better than the Personas we’ve been grinding for imo. The frustration started long before Street Fighter, going back to the introduction of Ringside Pass. I LOVE Street Fighter, so you’d think I’d be all for this. I’m not, and that’s okay. I’d honestly have preferred Cody and Roman getting Street Fighter attires over characters who weren’t even in the movie. The issue isn’t ruining anyone’s fun. It’s that after spending $150, the overall product has felt like a waste of money. Without the modding community, I’d struggle to play this game for an hour.
