When I used to be a gambler, I thought how amazing it would be to beat casinos and accumulate fat stacks of chips, with strangers gathering around you and cheering you on…
Little did I realise one day I’d be stuffing chips everywhere to hide them and avoid attention 😂
Today (July 1st) marks the 40th anniversary of the state of Nevada passing a law banning the use of devices on casino games, ending the profitable run of shoe computers. Raising a 🥃 to those who enjoyed those 8% edges!
Fellow APs… we don’t allow casinos to brand us as ‘cheats’, because we aren’t doing that.
So why do we use their negative terminology of ‘collusion’?
We should call that form of AP something positive… ‘sharing’, for example.
Don’t let them brand us as crooks, even in subtext.

The end of a long trip is always mixed emotions: sadness that it’s coming to an end, happiness that you get to go home and see your family, pride in collecting more stories, warmth from catching up with old friends, excitement from making new ones but mainly just exhaustion 😂
Had an absolute blast on Sunday night catching up with old AP friends and making new ones. Thank you very much Mr @colinCOBRAjones for all the effort you put in to organising such a great event!
