Tell me why we don't mine and refine our own fuel and at least look after our fuel resources.
Are we not in a position to at least be somewhat self sufficient.
I obviously dont get it, but happy to be educated 🤦

Bring back Aussie Pride...
Look after our history and our heritage because there are people among us that want it torn down and burnt.
We have not been allowed to be proud of who who are since the Sydney Olympics.

Well said
The guy just landed a spacecraft on a comet — one of the most impressive scientific achievements in years.
His reward? A public struggle session because his bowling shirt had scantily clad women on it.
Helen Andrews points out the quiet cost of institutional feminization: HR departments now hunt down any maverick personality and stamp it out.
We’re losing innovators we’ll never even know about, all because someone focused on the shirt instead of the comet.
This is how wokeness actually works.
Have you seen real excellence get punished for something trivial like this?

This is an opportunity to course-correct – to right wrongs.
All Victorian Liberals should now get behind the magnificent @MoiraDeemingMP.
Moira should have been pre-selected in the first instance.
But with the successful candidate now having withdrawn after recent revelations – and questions to be answered about pre-selection screening processes – it's time to back Moira.
Victorians deserve that women and girls – and indeed all Victorians – have strong, principled representatives in public life.
Back her in now.

If you claim to support human rights yet can’t bring yourself to show solidarity with those fighting for their liberty in Iran, you’ve revealed yourself. You don’t give a damn about people being oppressed and brutalised so long as it’s being done by the enemies of your enemies.

This legend isn’t backing off one inch, accusing the Home Affairs Minister of being a traitor to his face. Good on her.

I grieve for the Australia I grew up in 😢
No African machete gangs.
No Islamic terrorism.
No Government controlling every aspect of our lives.
Just a safe, secure, connected, high trust society with common values & morals.
We had hope for the future & the great Australian dream was within reach 🤍 🇦🇺
That’s what I’m fighting for 🔥

It wasn't guns and if you won't name it up, the root causes, then it won't be fixed. We are lost. Resign now or Say there name.......

We as a country are truly lost. Those days are gone 😪.
I loved growing up in a multicultural Australia. You could wave an Aussie flag, barrack for your country in Cricket, Olympics, world cup, were you could be publicly patriotic for your country without being branded a racist.

What about when this happened:
**Italian Grand Prix (Monza), 2025**
During qualifying for the 2025 Italian Grand Prix at Monza, Oscar Piastri was instructed by McLaren to provide a slipstream (tow) to teammate Lando Norris in Q2. Norris was struggling and at risk of elimination.

While you can never agree with everything one person says, this is absolutely retarded. Free speech doesn’t exist in Australia.

Paul Kelly’s column in The Australian earlier this week deserves a response.
Australia hasn’t “moved left”. Ordinary Aussies just want strong families, safe communities, and a prosperous nation. The last election wasn’t Labor’s big win, it was our failure to stand firm. Every time we go “Labor-lite,” we lose.
It’s not radical to want cheap energy, sustainable migration, stronger industry, real education for our kids, or freedom from big government. That’s just common sense.
If the Liberal Party is to win again, we must reject identity politics, fight for everyday Australians, and offer a real alternative.
