I'm excited to announce that I'm co-directing a new 3-yr $2 million dollar project, Visualize Engineering Concepts Through Open Resources (VECTOR), to expand visualizations for Statics, Dynamics, and Mechanics of Materials. #OER

AI is opening new ways to learn. With a simple upload of the PDF of our #OER textbook engineeringstatics.org, Google's NotebookLM created a podcast overviewing the book. While I'd revise a handful of parts, it's quite incredible! Check it out

Thanks to @PreTeXtBook we were just able to add a search bar to Engineering Statics engineeringstatics.org. Initial tests reveal that it quickly finds 1-word queries, but multi-word searches are not up to speed yet.
