Recently The Inspired 24 held our 5th Spaceflight Training class. It was the first since taking over operations from CHaSE, and we are very happy to say it went fantastically. π
Per tradition, the crew of Roger βRogerβ Lascorz, Kendra βLady Baseβ Base, Christopher βIFOβ Coger-Alexander & John βJMEDβ Michael Espinosa Duran designed their own crew patchβ¦
The Inspired 24 Class V Spaceflight Training patch represents the people, identities, and aspirations that came together during training.
Its overall design was intentionally inspired by the Artemis II mission patch, recognizing that their spaceflight training took place in the same year as the historic Artemis II mission. The helmet and rainbow motif incorporate The Inspired 24 patch, tying the individual elements back to the program itself.
The four blue stars represent the four Class V trainees, while the four red stars honor the four instructors and the prominent gold star represents our shared direction toward spaceflight.
The Vantage IF0-1 flight suit, though belongs to one crew member; the suit represents a scientific breakthrough of wearable technology for monitoring human physiology in extreme and spaceflight environments.
The flower honors the city of Reus, home of one crew member; the Colombian flag represents another memberβs pride in his Colombian heritage while pursuing his goal of becoming an astronaut; and the harp represents another memberβs personal goal of becoming the first harpist in space.
Together, the patch preserves not only our training experience, but the different cultures, ambitions, technologies, and people that made The Inspired 24 Class V their own. π©βππ¨βππ§βπ

The Inspired 24 Spaceflight Readiness Program
October 7, 2026
The Honorable Jared Isaacman
Administrator
National Aeronautics and Space Administration
300 E Street SW
Washington, DC 20546
Dear Administrator Isaacman,
As World Space Week 2026 kicks off, The Inspired 24 would like to express our enthusiastic support of your vision for NASA, including the establishment of a lasting human presence on the Moon and the journey that will carry humans to Mars. Your leadership has reminded many of us that human spaceflight is not only the work of a few, but a shared endeavor that can inspire people from every walk of life. We are grateful for the direction you are setting and eager to do our part.
With over 360 worldwide members to date, The Inspired 24 is dedicated to building a space-ready civilian workforce for the future of human spaceflight. We believe that as lunar and deep-space operations grow, the need for capable, well-prepared people will grow with them, including skilled professionals from the trades and other fields who can bring practical expertise to a mission. Our civilian space-readiness program is designed to help prepare them.
The program includes:
- A two-day hands-on spaceflight training course covering spacesuit operations and emergency water landing preparedness, as well as online coursework with testing. (youtu.be/HhGOTlxgOB8)
- IIAS Project PoSSUM @PoSSUMAstronaut as the next step after completing the I24 spaceflight training weekend, providing advanced experiences for astronaut training.
- Team missions at @SpaceCampUSA, where members train and work together in a mission environment.
- Analog research missions through the Analog Astronaut Community (analog-astronaut-community.mβ¦), which give members hands-on experience with scientific research and simulated space operations.
- Aquanaut missions through Julesβ Undersea Laboratory @JulesLodge, where members live and work in an extreme, isolated and pressurized environment much like what they would experience in space.
Together, these experiences help our members build the technical skills, teamwork, and resilience that spaceflight requires. And this is just the beginning.
We are hopeful that, as the lunar base takes shape and commercial space companies expand their operations, there will be opportunities for civilians with proven training and practical expertise to contribute directly. The Inspired 24 would be proud to see its members actively
participate in support of your missions and those of our commercial partners, and we are committed to preparing them well for the responsibility of future civilian spaceflight.
We would welcome the chance to share more about our program, and we would be honored to hear any guidance you or your team might offer on how civilian readiness can best support the future of human spaceflight. Thank you for your service and for your inspiring leadership. We
are cheering you on as you take humanity farther than ever before.
With respect and appreciation,

π FIVE YEARS. ONE COMMUNITY. ONE MISSION. ππ
September 15, 2021 β a day that changed the story of human spaceflightβ¦ and the day Inspired24 began its own journey.
Five years later, what started as an idea has grown into a global community of people who believe that the future of space is not something we simply watch from the ground β itβs something we can all help build. β¨
Over these five years, weβve trained, learned, collaborated, supported one another, celebrated milestones, welcomed new faces, and created opportunities to get closer to the world of space exploration.
But the greatest achievement isnβt a number, a training, or an event.
Itβs the people.
The dreamers who joined us.
The members who showed up for each other.
The innovators who asked, βWhat if?β
The explorers who refused to stop looking upward.
And everyone who found a place in this community and thought:
βI belong here.β π
Today, we celebrate five years of Inspired24 β and every person who has been part of the journey.
To our members, supporters, partners, and friends around the world:
Thank you for helping make this community what it is. π
Five years behind us.
An entire universe ahead. π
Happy 5th Anniversary, Inspired24!

Last week, eight MoonDAO citizens attended the ribbon cutting for the new Inspiration4 Skills Training Complex at Space Camp USA. Our community raised over $10k to support and sponsor items within the new building, including a multi-axis training chair. This was directly funded by our decentralized launchpad.

We were very honored to have been part of the dedication ceremony for the brand new @inspiration4x Space Skills Training complex at @SpaceCampUSA in Huntsville, AL. π
@rookisaacman was present to cut the ribbon along with many state and local dignitaries. Many of our friends from the space community were present to join in the celebration. The new training complex was made possible by a generous donation by Jared & Monica Isaacman.
This new state-of-the-art training facility will allow our future Scientists, Engineers, Pilots and Astronauts get the experience and inspiration they need to be successful. π©βππ¨βππ§βπ

Join us for @OfficialMoonDAO's Space-a-thon, and help send @fwhite66 to space! Donate and become a citizen and you could be the one to join Frank and observe the overview effect first hand!

Frank deserves this honor. Please support and share!!! π
β¨In 1987, Frank White introduced the world to a concept that would become foundational to the modern space industry: The Overview Effect. It describes the cognitive shift astronauts experience when they see Earth from space, a profound sense of unity, fragility, and interconnection that changes how they see everything. The term is now used by NASA, ESA, and virtually every commercial space company on the planet.πππ
Frank White is in his 80s. He has never been to space. ππͺπ°οΈ
MoonDAO, a decentralized space organization, is launching a $2M+ crowdfund to send Frank on a spaceflight, and to send one community member alongside him. This is citizen spaceflight in its truest form: funded by the people, governed by the people, with a seat open to the people. π©βππ¨βππ§βπ
The mechanism matters: all funds are held in a transparent smart contract. If the minimum goal isnβt met, every contributor receives a full refund. Whether youβre in the space industry, a builder, or simply someone who believes the Overview Effect should be experienced by the person who named it, this is worth your attention, and your support. Thank you. β¬οΈ
