@AmericanAir claim of free same-day changes not accurate. Had 3:40pm 1st (pd cash) ticket & instead of letting me switch agent wanted $$$, went early 2 airport put on standby not even on 1st class waitlist! Have AA cc, status etc., but no benefit with this.
