EPUTβs own published board papers contain findings that should alarm every patient, family and regulator.
A culture review by brap and the Kingβs Fund describes staff avoiding putting matters in writing because they fear records could be used against them. Concerns are softened. Decisions are delayed or passed upwards.
It also describes staff giving positive accounts during senior leadership visits, then complaining after leaders leave because they do not want to be seen as failures.
These findings appear in the board papers for 7 October 2026βwhile the Lampard Inquiry is investigating mental health deaths in Essex.
Bereaved families have spent years fighting to establish what happened to the people we love. We depend on complete records, honest accounts and concerns being brought into the open.
How can families have confidence when EPUTβs own review describes a culture of self-protection affecting what gets recorded and raised?
The reviewers conclude that EPUT already knows much about its cultural problems. The challenge is turning that knowledge into action.
Families deserve evidence of change: concerns recorded accurately, staff supported to speak openly, and leaders held accountable for their response.
Matthew died in 2012. Fourteen years later, I am still fighting for the truth. These findings demand answers.

All we seem to be hearing about at the BBC are the creatives being made redundant β presenters, journalists, programme makers, writers etc β and never the executives on the vast salaries.

This is the hardest, most devastating truth of this entire crisis. Removing the plastic fortress is a massive milestone, but it is not a magical reset switch. By the time a surgeon goes in to carve the mesh out, the polypropylene has already spent years oxidizing, degrading, and shrinking inside the body.

I hope there isnβt another funding issue. The longer the Post Office scandal drags on, the more evidence is lost, memories fade and accountability slips away. Compensation gets harder too, as proving what victimsβ lives would have been becomes evidently hard, counterfactually!

BREAKING: HELL YES! A federal judge orders the MAGA-controlled Kennedy Center to unseal the controversial "renovation" documents that they've been hiding.
This is the death knell for Trump's insane lies...
U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper has now ordered the Kennedy Center Board to reveal the presentation that they used during their discussions of closing the beloved institution for two years. The cost of the so-called renovations has been pegged at $257 million.
The first key document, known as the βDelta Construction Group PowerPoint" must now be fully unsealed. The second, known as the βJLL Plan,β must also be unsealed, but the government will have until October 14th to suggest redactions. Those redactions must be narrow and well-justified.
Democratic Rep. Joyce Beatty, who is an ex officio Kennedy Center board member, is one of the central figures attempting to halt the closure. The judge will give her the opportunity to respond to any proposed redactions. Given how fierce she has been throughout this process, we expect her to bring the hammer down hard.
While the administration has tried to use vague concerns about national security to avoid the release of the documents so far, Judge Cooper pointed out that portions have already been reported on. More importantly, the public has a right to access the information.
This entire saga is a farce, because we know that the Board decided to close the Kennedy Center not because it genuinely needed this pricy update, but because Trump was enraged that the courts blocked him from slapping his name on the building. At the same time, attendance has plummeted thanks to the MAGA stink now emanating from the Center and prominent musical artists are refusing to perform until Trump's minions are gone. By closing the entire place down, Trump is able to avoid bad press about the anemic ticket sales.
It's unclear what exactly these documents will reveal but you can bet your bottom dollar it'll be bad news for Trump!
Please β€οΈ and share to thank the judge!

Good luck. I hope there will be more than seven recommendations.
Replying to @CastletonLee
I've written seven names on a piece of paper.
They are the seven names of those whom, if I was Sir Wyn, would be recommended for prosecution.
They are the ones who have committed the worst crimes in this appalling scandal.
We'll see if my predictions are correct.
