We may be entering a heat wave but we all know that warmer weather won't last forever. To help prepare for the colder months, our team have been busy putting together Winter Warmth Support Packs, so they're ready to go to some of the most vulnerable households.

Off we go, starting with the one, the only Kevin Booker, who many of us followed on the live-x of his record-breaking journey from John o Groats to Lands End. Great to hear from the expert on range anxiety compared to range reality.
#EVIESUMMIT
Alexander Miropolski notes how range anxiety is getting worse, and only 13% of ev drivers have had no issues at all when charging in public. The challenge for the sector is to make charging as dull as filling a fuel tank, and competition is helping to do so.

Habitual disruptor Mark Hellman Regouby giving the most upbeat talk of the day, showcasing ElectroFleet work to install ev charging alongside other tech matched with renewable generation to give 20 years of fixed energy prices to businesses decarbonising

Dr. Mody of DfT talked through the approach to public charging infrastructure, noting upckming funding rounds and changes to public procurement to speed up the process. Local authorities need more access to expertise and we need to see more coordination with energy infra too.
Solving charge anxiety requires data and intelligence to improve clarity over availability, carbon, qnd cost. That capability doesn't exist in the current system and won't unless we look fo improve data access, data sources, and data applications. #EVIESummit
