An injury they’ll have to continue to manage
#49ers coach Kyle Shanahan says WR Mike Evans’ Achilles injury is same thing (soreness) he dealt with all week.
Shanahan said he didn’t think Evans will need further testing or imaging on the Achilles.

OFFICIAL: Brock Purdy just became the highest-rated passer in NFL history. He also now holds official #1 ranks across numerous QB stats.
Purdy has been on a Hall of Fame trajectory since Day 1. Purdy's first start against Tom Brady's Tampa Bay Bucs was about 1,500 throws ago

No good comeback for Diggs there. If a future Hall of Famer says you're a no-name, you just have to take it

#49ers All-Pro Fred Warner suffered a dislocated and broken ankle in today’s game, per coach Kyle Shanahan. A significant, likely season-ending injury with surgery coming.

Kyle Shanahan says there's a chance George Kittle is back next week vs Atlanta, but it doesn't sound like there's a chance LG Ben Bartch will be ready yet for that week

The 49ers beat the Rams SEVERELY shorthanded. If SF can get back to ANY semblance of health, they are bona fide Super Bowl contenders — no questions asked

The #49ers have depth on the edge, including from Bryce Huff, who they traded for this offseason. But no one can replace Bosa.
#49ers star DE Nick Bosa is believed to have suffered a torn ACL on Sunday, sources say.
Bosa left Sunday early, giving the thumbs down while walking off. He knew.

Brock Purdy put on a masterclass at 49ers practice today. 13-14 with crisp completions to every part of the field, including a back-foot bomb that perfectly led George Kittle

Kittle? ✅
Purdy? ✅
And now Warner? ✅
The #49ers and All-Pro LB Fred Warner have agreed to terms on a new 3-year contract extension worth $63M, per me and @MikeGarafolo.
The deal done by Justin Schulman of @AthletesFirst makes Warner, the perennial Pro Bowler, the NFL’s highest-paid LB. He gets $56.7M guaranteed.

The #49ers are expected to explore trading star WR Deebo Samuel, sources say.
In what could be a wild offseason, a parting for Samuel and SF is not guaranteed, but it may make sense for all parties.

Notre Dame QB Riley Leonard heard about the 49ers QB roundtable for the Dwight Clark Legacy Series and traveled to San Jose in May to attend. He met Brock Purdy, Steve Young, Jeff Garcia and Alex Smith beforehand and asked a question during the event. nbcsportsbayarea.com/nfl/san…

Potentially significant: #49ers coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters that the team will open LB Dre Greenlaw's practice window to return from his Achilles tear this week.
