Hagerty, Top Gear and MotorTrend each published deep-dive videos on @Tesla's new Roadster, with details not shown on stage: up to 1,500 hp from two rear motors, a 330+ mph target and 15-80% charging in 10 minutes. Full article with videos on EVwire: evwire.com/p/tesla-roadster-…

Tesla doesn't just imagine the impossible. We build it. Vote FOR ALL THREE proposals before our upcoming Annual Meeting on December 3 to secure Tesla’s next chapter. The best is yet to come.

Optimus and Cybercab will be the vast majority of Tesla’s value. The only things that will scale to incredible size (K2 and beyond) economically are super intelligence, robots, solar power and mass to space. And, of course, if you have the first two, the rest will follow. But Roadster is super cool, so we’re doing it anyway.

Is there interest in me doing a full deep dive on the Tesla Roadster or do we think people understand it generally? It’s relatively simple in the world of rockets but I think in the general population it’s pretty confusing as an automotive application haha

“you’ll never own the roadster you shouldn’t be excited” is the dumbest take. I’ll never own a rocket ship but they’re exciting. I’ll never own the James web telescope but it’s an achievement of human ingenuity. We should be excited when humans push the limits and do cool shit

If you can't even admit to yourself that the Tesla Roadster presentation was awesome, you're retarded beyond help.

The saddest thing about this is that this is undeniably cool af, yet from the reactions I’ve seen, a significant percentage of chronically online people can do nothing but shit on it because they’re so blinded with hate for Elon.

True. You will be able to ask the Roadster to perform any of the tricks shown autonomously, as it will be sentient. Also, we will have a wild looping track (crazier even than Hot Wheels) at our Texas HQ where you can test out your Roadster.

@BBC_TopGear pleasure speaking. I love the child like enthusiasm Tom brings. Makes me feel like a kid with a hot wheels track making cars fly. Turns out in real life you need rocket scientists and car engineers. Thats ok, I know some of the best!

I could have talked with @HenryCatchpole for another few hours. Really appreciate you guiding the convo and letting it go. I always try to represent the team as best I can, they do some amazing stuff - you just wanted to listen. Let’s talk later about that @Cyan_Racing
