And another dev update from @EnderManBuild ! "Greetings! ❤️ I'm really excited to let you know that the main work on the X3 - Pixel Realism - Vibrant Visuals Support update is done! I'm now moving on to the compression stage to bring down the texture pack size as much as possible. I wanted to get your opinion on something. The biggest chunk of the file size comes from the animated plants textures. I originally had 61 frames per plant, now I've cut it down to 31, but it still hasn't helped as much as I hoped. I see two options: The easy way - Remove the animations from the Minecraft Marketplace version and release the full animated plants as a separate free pack on PlanetMinecraft (or similar sites). Players who want them can just download and layer it over the purchased mash-up. The harder way - Spend more time trying to simplify the animations even further. Let me know what you think! I’d love to make a quick decision and release this update out as soon as possible. Also, I’m including an extra 16x texture pack in the update for players with weaker hardware - I think it’s really necessary. Thanks! ❤️ "
