NYT: U.S. and British officials believe the incident near RAF Fairford is connected to Iran’s IRGC or another military command in Iran. Western intelligence agencies had warned nearly two weeks earlier of a possible Iran-backed attack on the U.S.-used base.

The Russians continue to turn our infrastructure and everything that supports ordinary life into their targets. This morning in Kyiv, a “shahed” struck the Pivnichnyi Bridge. Overnight, residential buildings, railways, and energy infrastructure in many regions came under Russian attack. In Chornomorsk, a drone struck a vessel.
Importantly, our warriors always find a way to justly respond to these attacks and take the war back to where it came from. Over the past 24 hours, our long-range capabilities effectively struck targets serving the aggressor’s war machine. Our sanctions reached the Samara region, as well as the positions of occupiers operating Iskander missile systems in the Bryansk region. There are new results in the Black Sea.

According to the North Korean state-run news agency KCNA, the missile tested last night was an intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) that reportedly used AI in it mid-course and/or terminal phase for correction and a maneuvering reentry vehicle (MaRV), if the report is understood correctly by us. North Korean claims of AI an MaRVs during such tests is not abnormal, as such claims have been made in the past.

President Donald J. Trump's top national security officials met for hours at Camp David on Friday to discuss next steps on Iran and the Saudi-Houthi conflict in Yemen, according to three U.S. officials who spoke to Axios. The meeting wasn't announced, and the White House declined to comment.
The last similar unannounced Camp David meeting, in June 2025, came just days before Israel went to war with Iran, according to the report.
Vice President Vance chaired the meeting, officials said, with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, White House envoy Steve Witkoff, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, and Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Caine also attending. One official said "things were decided or at least deeply discussed" regarding the Middle East crisis, without specifying what.
Two issues were reportedly on the table: whether to resume major U.S. combat operations against Iran, after Trump said Thursday "either Iran signs the deal, or it won't exist any longer," and whether the U.S. will join a planned Saudi offensive against the Houthis in Yemen. Saudi Arabia is pushing Trump to authorize strikes. Officials say he's been leaning against it but could change course.
Asked by reporters Friday about his next move on Iran, President Trump said, "If I told you, you would have a major story. But you will see. It is working out very well. Iran is not doing well."
