@EnclaveNetworks released an excellent microsite for tracking zero trust network vendors. It currently indexes 72 different vendors, their main features & gives many comparisons & a historical history of secure access technologies: zerotrustnetworkaccess.info/

#Infosec2022 stand setup. Some amazing looking stands here. Took us 4 hours to hang a monitor, some of the other crews seem to have built entire micro-cities in the same timeframe?! Hoping it’s a good turn out despite the rail strike

Hey all! 👋 I'm looking for a #dotnet engineer to join my team at @EnclaveNetworks; if you are into networks, infosec, or just know your C#, you may be a great fit. Fully remote in the UK and nearby tz is ok. 🌍 Thread of cool things we build below... enclave.io/careers/senior-cs…

Scott you should really have a look at @EnclaveNetworks, also MAGIC with the added bonus that it's build on .NET. @evocationist and team are doing amazing work in this space.

We spend wayyy too long thinking about traffic from this address space, or that country, at the physical/underlay level, to secure private networks. Call it Zero Trust, call it requiring auth before TCP SYN, whatever, but auth the damn sender before connect.
Windows makes it way too easy to expose ports beyond the local subnet. Especially desktop OS should ship blocking all inbound communication from non-private address space to SMB, RDP, etc. No admin trying to move a file is thinking "yeah I want to open this to France"

New post about UDP performance in .NET 6 (sequel to my .NET 5 post). TLDR; the @dotnet team made changes that meant I could delete all my custom async code. 🎉 I like deleting code. #dotnet enclave.io/high-performance-…

Minor bio-change tweet; I'm moving into the CTO role at @EnclaveNetworks! I joined Enclave at the start of the pandemic in 2020, and have been building a kick-ass engineering team. I'm looking forward to building more great stuff and making networks suck less!

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to get @gitlab and @EnclaveNetworks working on @digitalocean when writing this. Anyone know if you can auto-add a firewall to all new droplets? They're wide open by default. Better to open ports than close them. Any ideas @olearycrew?
Do you self-host @gitlab, and want to get secure remote access to it? One of our contributors writes about using Enclave to get secure connectivity to GitLab without having to put it on the public Internet. enclave.io/secure-access-to-…

Busy day for Enclave today, we've got a load of new features and improvements out, incl prot/port ACLs for traffic, support for Ephemeral systems (great for k8s or CI) and more. There's so much there I had to write a blog post about all the new stuff! enclave.io/enclave-nov-2021-…

Interested in writing about Zero Trust, #DevSecOps or infosec in general? Enclave is hiring for a full-time, global remote #devrel role! We're looking for someone that can write blog posts, create demo videos and talk to engineers in the wild about network security problems.

#killthevpn key tenants of ZeroTrustNetworkAccess - Applications hidden from discovery, no public visibility - Access restricted via a trust broker - Broker verifies identity, context and policy - Lateral network movement is prohibited - Reduced surface area available for attack
