I was 7 when I first saw my brother dunk a basketball at Nogales. He did something that was impossible. He was a freshmen. I saw the thousands of reps he put in before he accomplished his goal. I was blessed to have my brother to teach me discipline, consistency, and passion.

Glendora, who could have taken a knee and went to halftime up 14-7, threw an interception straight to Zion Key who returned it 50 yards for a touchdown with 20 seconds left until half to tie the score, 14-14.

Walker has been a dude. Since the stories I heard and the highlights I seen over the summer. Just hope there’s a school out there that will give this kid an opportunity. @EncinasCoach @NogalesNoblesFB #TheMid

We know Gonzalez and Gatsbee but before everyone else starts talking about him Nogales ATH Tyron Walker (SR) is a dude! He has a great story and is doing his thing with two blocked punts one taken for TD and 3-receiving TDs. #TheMid @tspeterson40 @NogalesNoblesFB @EncinasCoach

Nogales is honoring longtime athletic director Bruce Alley, who is in his 40th year on the Nobles football coaching sidelines during Friday’s game with Chaffey. They are also naming the road players walk from the school to the field “Alley Way.” He’s so deserving, one of the good guys for four decades …
