Insurance won’t cover sh*t
One way or another, the French people will end up paying for all the damage caused by the rioters. Either via the government or insurance premiums. It’s the ultimate slap in the face.

Ted the French authorities have confirmed that it’s not Islamists doing this, but rather angry students for poor conditions in their high schools and universities once again you’re blaming Muslims for something that they are not responsible for

Potemkin town hall…
Les images de la Mairie de @VilleLimoges87 sont terribles, les dégâts sont considérables et, outre l'aspect patrimonial évident, le symbole de la République attaquée est vraiment très grave.

Perfect Monday in Paris: 08:00 - Wake up to sirens outside 09:00 - Check the news. Another “mostly peaceful” protest planned for today 10:00 - Arrive at work, half the office is on strike 12:00 - Begin 4 hour lunch 16:00 - Discuss dangers of far-right politics with an African waiter who doesn't speak French 17:00 - Walk home, observe five Black teenagers borrowing clothes from the Louis Vuitton store 19:00 - Watch President Macron speech explaining that “moments like this test our commitment to democracy” 21:00 - Write an angry Twitter post that American accounts are spreading propaganda about France 22:30 - Fall asleep to the sound of police helicopters surrounding your neighborhood Paris remains the most beautiful city in the world

To the extent governments want to censor and shut down X because of “misinformation,” it’s because X allows people to debunk government misinformation in real time. It’s unmediated and politicians for the last 80 years depended on being able to control the mediators (ie mainstream publishers, reporters and editors)

More socialism because it will never be enough..
From the high schools of France to the streets of Madrid to the universities of Tirana, young people are telling their governments the same thing: in an age of massive wealth inequality, they want a future they can believe in. In France, students and teachers are asking for safe schools, enough teachers and smaller classes. In Spain, for affordable rent and housing. In Albania, for good jobs and an end to corruption. @JDVance says this is what happens when a nation lets in too many immigrants from the global south. He is not just morally wrong, but misreading the moment. The is what happens when nations let wealth and power accumulate in the hands of a few. This is what happens when young people lose hope in their future. In America, let us listen to our young. We need an economic and political transformation. America's Next New Deal.

Spare me the pearl-clutching — especially from Republican Members of Congress and online MAGA grifters who have cheered President Trump's weaponization of the government against those he doesn’t like, as recently as last week. This is a subject I know something about: Less than a year ago, Trump directed the DOJ and FBI to investigate me, and then tried to criminally indict me for a 90 second video, exercising basic free speech. The same free speech you’re exercising now, lying about what I said in this clip. If not for an anonymous group of grand jury members standing up for America's laws, I’d be criminally indicted for sedition. President Trump has turned the government against people, with raucous support from you and virtually all D.C. Republicans. So spare us the manufactured outrage. America must be a place where the rule of law still matters. Those laws should apply to everyone equally. If you have aided in the corrupt use of U.S. taxpayer dollars to benefit the President or his family, or you have violated the law in order to carry out guidance from the President, you should be held accountable. And given how rampant that corruption appears to the average American, people looking to work for his Administration should realize that while the Supreme Court has granted the President immunity, it has not done the same for those who do illegal things at his behest.

Anyone who still doubts that lawfare will only get worse needs to listen to Elissa Slotkin. She sounds like a Soviet party apparatchik calmly explaining how she will use political prosecutions to terrorize political opponents and intimidate ordinary people away from participating in politics altogether. Except a Soviet apparatchik probably wouldn't have talked about it so openly. But Slotkin couldn't care less. The entire lawfare machine has become so emboldened by the total lack of accountability that they no longer bother hiding their plans.
ON UCHICAGO CAMPUS: U.S. Senator from Michigan Elissa Slotkin hopes planned political prosecutions of republican leaders will scare young conservatives from getting involved in politics. @ElissaSlotkin

It's a cold dose of candor, but make no mistake, the entire Democrat Party feels exactly this way. They will absolutely use unscrupulous, punitive lawfare against ALL their political enemies, actual and perceived the moment they have enough power to do so. Why do you think Jack Smith collected the names, addresses, SS numbers, dates of birth, etc. of people who donated to the Trump campaign, or bought a Trump flag, or just bought a red hat? They WANT you to be afraid to defy them, to voice a dissenting opinion, to support an opposition candidate. Leftism demands conformity: "Everything that isn't illegal must be made mandatory, and everything that isn't mandatory must be made illegal." Fear is both a tool and a weapon for them. Slotkin is just stupid and/or bold enough to blurt it out in stark, unambiguous terms.
Sen. Elissa Slotkin just said that he wants to prosecute everyone who works for President Trump and that her goal is for young conservatives coming out of school to be afraid of working in a Republican administration

As Secretary Rubio warned in July, we are witnessing the resurgence of FAR-LEFT POLITICAL TERRORISM. Secretary Rubio presciently hosted a Ministerial on this because this threat is transnational and organized in networks that cross borders, share resources, and coordinate violence. Those who excuse, normalize and legitimize it deserve unequivocal condemnation. If you claim to stand for working people, STOP MAKING EXCUSES FOR THOSE WHO DESTROY EVERYTHING WORKING PEOPLE HAVE BUILT. Unlike their apologists, we believe destruction and chaos are NOT legitimate forms of political expression. Arson is not argument. Intimidation is not debate. Terror is not justice. And a campaign to destroy Western civilization is NOT a protest against the price of groceries. Every business burned is someone's life's work destroyed. Every neighborhood terrorized is a community robbed of peace. Under President Trump and Secretary Rubio, we will never surrender American communities to organized political terror. We will dismantle terrorist networks that threaten our people, disrupt their financing, and bring their perpetrators to justice. Our streets belong to our citizens. Our future belongs to our children. And this country belongs to the people who built it—not transnational mobs that seek to burn it down.

The past few days, I got my hands on thousands of new transcripts and hundreds of recordings, thanks to leads from @SKDoubleDub33 and @iamlisalogan . You've heard that the DSA is proposing structural reforms to America, including abolishing the Senate and imposing term limits. What you not have heard is - there is an operational plan to put it all into action. If the Democratic Party sweeps 2026, then DSA will become "foot soldiers" in constant clashes with the administration to cross a "red line" or invoke a "doomsday scenario" - meaning, President Trump invokes the Insurrection Act, probably sometime in 2027. Then, a lot of coordinated responses kick off, including delegitimizing the federal government itself and handing that legitimacy to Democratic governors. 2028 then becomes a vote on whether to keep America governance as-is or to burn it all down to appease a "young and brown" demographic. The mysterious group who's been coordinating 50501, Indivisible, and coordinating the NoKings protests is called "United Democracy Alliance" and their intellectual leader is Erica Chenoweth who came up with the 3.5% rule of nonviolent regime change. Patience. I know I've hyped this more than anything else. It's genuinely the biggest discovery I've had. This is an enormous archive. This is only the beginning.
