Some facts about these 28 people:
- Every one was a lawful permanent resident.
- 4 of the 28 are accused only of registering, not voting. Only 22 are accused of voting in 2024.
- The median and average age is 50.
- 22 noncitizen voters = 0.0001% of California's 2024 electorate.
BREAKING: Federal authorities have begun arresting 28 noncitizens accused of illegally registering to vote in the U.S., with prosecutors saying many actually cast ballots in previous elections.
First Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli says the arrests began early this morning, with at least 11 suspects already in custody and more arrests expected.
The new charges come as the DOJ reports charging 113 noncitizens across 20 states with illegal voting and registration offenses in just seven weeks.
"These are not isolated instances," Essayli says, revealing that the Justice Department has charged 156 people with voting fraud-related offenses since the administration began, adding that federal authorities are investigating thousands of additional potential cases nationwide.

A new report on truancy in D.C. says that some Latino students are truant because the increased presence of ICE, other federal agents, and National Guard had "negative impact on their families." One kid said he was "genuinely afraid to step outside" after his dad was deported.
Law enforcement lying?
That’s a shock.
Know your rights.

17.2% swing in MAGA country, with Dems hitting well over double their record highs for last 7 years
Liberty County, first day of early voting:
21.6% of in-person voters had voted in a Democratic primary since 2020, up from 9.7% on 2022’s first day.
A 17.2-point swing toward Democratic primary voters, R+56.1 to R+38.9, in an R+61.6 county.
I have updated the graphic to make it more clear how many people voted in how many primaries.

What Vivek Ramaswamy has done is absolutely beyond despicable and evil. It is the most vile thing I have ever seen in politics. Using Amy Acton's birth mother who stayed married to Amy's rapist and was so abusive she lost custody of her kids, for political gain is despicable.

This verifies exactly what we’re seeing across the country— the biggest swings of the pendulum are coming from areas that swung hardest toward President Trump and his party in the first place.
Looking solid in Maine
Dems and Independents slightly under their 2024 pace, well ahead of 2022 (+21k)
R’s falling well behind 2024, mildly higher than 2022, +3k
Not what R’s want to see (1:4 ratio R’s to non-R’s, they probably need it 1:3 to have a shot)
Absentee Voting - 17 Days Out
Added in the 2024 compare by request. Dems still hold a large lead in early voting slightly below their share of the 2022 numbers.
Accepted Vote % (vs '22)
🟦53.2% (-1.3)
🟥19.4% (-2.3)
🟨25.1% (+3.9)
