Congratulations to the recipients of the inaugural BDCI Trainee Seed Grants! Born out of the BDCI Trainee Symposium this March, these 3 teams created & submitted new, collaborative projects and were awarded $2,500/team to pursue them! Full story: bdci.emory.edu/news/year-1-t…
Vageesha Herath & Elise Bezold (@el_bez3) aim to produce DNA tension probes capable of measuring forces produced by bacterial cells during the swimming/swarming process, giving insight into what type of surfaces to coat/design in medical devices! Mentors: @k_salaita & @wmwuest
