Our highways teams are carrying out as many repairs as possible as quickly as they can – thank you to them👍.

Did you know you can view live pictures from 8 traffic cameras that we have across the county, or just outside? Each image is updated every 20 minutes. You might find them useful in bad weather when making decisions about whether to travel or not. 👀👇ow.ly/y2Kr50Qz35O

Thinking of the victims, their families and communities impacted by the Holocaust and of all others affected by genocide. Holding out hope that by keeping alive the memory of those who have experienced such suffering we never see such atrocities again. #HolocaustMemorialDay
Today is Holocaust Memorial Day. We will light up County Hall in purple tonight as we reflect on the impact and remember the victims of the Holocaust and other genocides. hmd.org.uk/

🐍 A reminder that the A57, the Snake Pass, is closed to through traffic from 26 September for 4 weeks. This is so that specialist contractors can carry out an investigation into the causes of the latest landslip. Our apols for the inconvenience. crowd.in/PieuNS
Such very sad news, my thoughts are with Jean's family and friends and all councillors and colleagues @OldhamCouncil
We are saddened to hear the passing of Councillor Jean Stretton.
Jean, who was 64, was the Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods and had represented Hollinwood as a Labour ward councillor from 2003-2008 and then 2010 onwards.
