This from Karen Celestino-Horseman, Democratic member of the Election Commission:
“Anytime a complaint is filed it should come before the commission. People took the time to make the complaint and they are entitled to be heard.”
address forms with incomplete instructions that cause confusion."
I do feel the lawsuit is just another way that Ballard is proving he is a remnent of the old party system—with a frivilous lawsuit
Libertarian Secretary of State Candidate Lauri Shillings put out a statement on Ballard’s lawsuit:
“"I think it's a good idea for them to meet. Maybe they can address complaints about the website failing while candidates try to file their paperwork before a legal deadline, or
Vice Chair Suzannah Wilson Overholt says she has told Chair Boyce if Boyce does not convene a meeting of the IEC, she will ask the other 2 commissioners to approve her (Wilson Overholt’s) request to convene one.

“Greg Ballard’s continued politicalization of government systems and the process in which they operate showcases he is unfit for this office…,
He's repeatedly said in recent candidate debates and forums that he'd like Indiana Election Commission to do its job and meet and enforce campaign finance laws.
Ballard wants the Commission to consider 4 pending campaign finance complaints in the race and take any necessary action before Election Day.
Ballard is not asking for a particular outcome.
Sources tell 13 News that Secretary of State candidate Greg Ballard is expected to file a lawsuit later this morning asking the Marion County Superior Court to order the Indiana Election Commission to meet before the November 3rd election.
GOP State Senator Greg Walker tells me he’s endorsing Democrat Beau Bayh for Secretary of State. Walker voted no on redistricting and was defeated by a Trump backed challenger in the primary.
Secretary of State Candidate Greg Ballard calls on Indiana lawmakers to pass law barring the Secretary of State from endorsing, fundraising for or donating to a candidate once in office as Secretary of State.

I am pleased to share that my request for a major disaster declaration has been approved for multiple counties. Thank you, @POTUS. This critical support will help Hoosiers recovering from historic storms and flooding. We’re grateful for this partnership as we work to rebuild, recover, and help communities get back on their feet.
