People say freelancing is an emotional rollercoaster but really there's just one steady emotion:
Don't have enough work: Panic
Have too much work: Panic
Have to do any work: Panic
Land a new client: Panic
Part ways with a client: Panic
10 whole years in digital marketing (yes, I know I don't look old enough💁♀️) I wonder what this baby faced @TheJuiceAcademy graduate would make of Twitter now...

👋🏻 If a freelance job post:
• Says "40 hours per week"
• Dictates a specific work location
• Spells out a specific schedule

Things a remote social media freelancer says daily, I'll go first:
Can you please get me some pictures 📷
I'm SUPPOSED to be resting after chronic burnout for the past couple of months, but I started a new project today because I just couldn't wait until after Christmas.
Tips for switching off please!
I feel like the main thing I forget to do as a freelancer is to show myself grace and kindness.
I'm writing this publicly so I will hold myself to it but this weekend I'm going to be nicer to myself, treat myself to the things I want and banish any negative thoughts
Know a charity who needs some support with their social media in the new year? Maybe someone who wants to get on TikTok but doesn't know where to start?
Tag them in the comments - lets get them the support they deserve!
The best resource for charities wanting to get on TikTok? No, it's not a social media guru or how-to blog, it's TikTok themselves.
