A thread on some of the most surreal trains and beautiful train rides 1. The Mauritanian iron ore train, one of the world's longest and heaviest, spans up to 3 km, travels 704 km, and has 200-300 carriages, each weighing up to 84 tons.

Absolutely love this tune! I heard it on a free CD given away by a magazine (old skool). Then tracked it down on vinyl a few years later. There’s a tool that goes into an infinite loop on the record, very clever. Still love this track.
