Pleased that our article about English EDs’ ability to respond to a major incident has been published in @EmergencyMedBMJ. Concerned that only 15.5% of ED self-report as prepared to respond, however. emj.bmj.com/content/early/20… @Triagemonkey @RCollEM @RCEMpresident @DefProfEM

As the NATO summit gets underway in Washington DC, the Chair of NATO COMEDS, Major General Tim Hodgetts, opens the Defence Medical Services' Non-Compressible Haemorrhage Symposium in London. As far as we've come, we need a revolution in trauma care if we are to survive what's to come. (My words)

To be fair there is a lot of variability in both groups. And one of the pilots sites is still reporting unusually short waits. But several pilot sites who used to be good on the 4hr metric are now awful on average waits...

Thank you, @drbenswift for your talk @EHAAT_ . I still don’t believe your version of the Father Christmas story but your points were well made (!) Serious bit - The clinicopathological correlation is the most important thing we can do to move our PHEM specialty forward.

Are you seeking to change the culture of your organisation or system? DON'T start by setting up a "culture change" programme or a direct "culture" intervention. Culture gets changed when people start doing real work differently: hbswk.hbs.edu/item/to-change… Via @HBSWK

Sad day. Last @DevonAirAmb shift with @DevonHeliPilot - fab aviator and friend who has gone above and beyond in the air and on scene to help those that need us. Shame about his below average banter!! Fly safe North of The Wall.

.@Hermesparcels Very disappointed to pay extra for my daughter’s stuff 2 b delivered today. My wife has been in all the time. I’ve got a message from you saying nobody is home to take delivery. That’s just not true. Very poor service. If only everyone were as good as @dpd_support

RAF HSU undergoes 2 days of assurance from #AMSTC in order to reach FOC and be declared to the DMS Defence Catalogue. Thank you to our ‘critical friends’ who offered advice and support leading us to this crucial point in the Exercise. @mikep200166 @pm_raf_ns @DMS_MilMed
