ALT About Age-Link Society: Age-Link Society is a non-profit organization promoting intergenerational friendships through creation of spaces for persons of all ages to connect, laugh, learn, and share with each other. As a result of these connections, community and understanding are promoted. Age-Link emphasizes reciprocal friendships where everyone has something to offer. Age-link Society bridges the intergenerational gap that exists in Canadian society through creating opportunities for all people of all ages to interact with each other. Activities of Age-Link include social gatherings like dinners, sports activities, board games, and walks, among others. Through these intergenerational connections, Age-Link hopes to create avenues for knowledge and experience transfer, intercultural exchange, and building of genuine long-lasting friendships for everyone involved. True to the above purpose of Age-Link Society, the organization upholds and uses the motto, “We Grow Together”.
