Finally got around to modifying all three of my BQC wagons into Ffarquhar Quarry wagons I also changed the numbers on each wagon to be different, pretty pleased with the result given how easy the change was!

Theres no way they greenlit all these promo images and so much merch for the reboot with one style of face only to change it up at the last minute when they release the special I have a funny feeling the animation style is gonna change a bit after this special, more like a pilot

Here's my current plan for the big station part of my N scale shelf layout Its largely based on RWS Tidmouth with the station on the top left, a low relief engine shed in the top right, and a yard on the bottom left with a goods shed and staging area. 1/2

I also managed to squeeze in a coal drop in front of the shed like in the books plus a turntable, ash pits and RIP siding. The Main Line will curve off to another board with a RWS Ffarquhar Station (WIP, trying to add fqhr sheds) Thoughts? Improvements? Anything I should add?

Also: - Thomas and Percy will have new bodies, but they’ll reuse chassis’ with upgrades. They will not have their S23 details, the renders in the brochure are how they’ll look. - Diesel 10’s claw will not open and close, but it will move up and down and 360 degrees.

So happy with these announcements! I really really really hope Diesel 10 has a fully posable claw. If its stuck in place that will be a real shame and would probably have me rethinking my purchase, but I trust this team to deliver something awesome! Also (1/2)

Is it just me or does the cream colour on both the red and green express coaches look too yellow in these images? I'm hoping its just an oddity in the catalogue because I dont remember the prototypes looking like that

Bought 6 lengths of dual gauge track thinking it was HO/HOn30 but its actually HO/HOn3 which is just slightly too big 🙃 Anyone have a use for it or know of something I can do with it?

new toy Also is amazing how much of a difference @PECOstreamline Bullhead track makes to the aesthetics of a model. I love the new short turnouts and I'm still crossing my fingers for some set-track style curves 🤞
